Am I alone in thinking I communicate far more in-depth with my children via email and text than face-to-face?

Over 65? Can you - or can you not use your hosepipe?
As hosepipe bans come into force across much of the UK, conflicting advice is being heard in this part of Kent. I was told most definitely that if you are over 65 then you can use your a hose to water plants.
I thought I should check this out and went to the South East Water website - http://www.hosepipeban.org.uk/2012/03/28/south-east-water-hosepipe-ban-restrictions-2012/
Nothing there, although it clearly states you may water a garden attached to a domestic dwelling or watering plants on domestic premises using a hosepipe, if you have severe mobility problems and hold a current Blue Badge as issued by your local authority;
Googling further I came across this on Mail Online
Two weeks ago South East Water, which supplies two million people in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, said all customers over 65 would be spared from the ban.
But this week, the company said: ‘We have revised it as a result of feedback from other customers who didn’t think it was a fair concession. It was also confusing because other water companies weren’t doing the same thing.’
